Description
1937 - 1939 studied painting in the Academy of Guatemala. From 1940 to 1942 he worked on glass mosaics. Member of the artists' group Generacion del 40 and the literary journal group Generacion del 40 and the literary journal Acento in Guatemala. He liven in Mexico from 1943 to 1948 and trained with Frida Kahlo and Alfredo Zalce. From 1945 to 1946 he was an assistant to Diego Rivera.
From 1946 to 1947 he taught mural painting in San Miguel de Allende.
Member of TGP from 1947 to 1948 and assistant to Orosco.
