Includes a (12) pp. introductory material including illustrated title, preface, and list of plates with historical notes by Enrique Ramirez y Ramirez and Alberto Morales Jimenez, 120 plates with original full-page prints. The images represent a compilation of previous editions and material about the decolonisation process in America and Europe, primarily through key actors of the Mexican Independence, Revolution and Education Reform.

The cover has very little damage and it's in an excellent state. The prints are still loose as in their original portfolio. They are in a pristine state, whilst some presenting some minor acidic decolouration on the edges of the paper.

This edition comprises 25 artist members of the Taller de Grafica Popular. These include previous women directors of the Taller and artists such as Celia Calderon, Elizabeth Catlett De Mora, Elena Huerta, Sarah Jimenez, Maria Luisa Martin, and Mariana Yampolsky.
